Makami Mukasaki is an illustration brand I created to explore playful learning for children. The project features a series of humorous and colorful illustrations that turn everyday objects, animals and foods into characters with personality.

The aim is to design learning materials that help children enjoy language, numbers and visual connections.

I developed the entire project independently, from naming and logo design to the creation and publication of learning posters for the alphabet and numbers one to twenty, as well as a coloring book available on Amazon KDP and Etsy.

In addition to these products I created many more illustrations that expand the visual world of Makami Mukasaki and establish the brand as a distinct and recognizable universe.
